Lightspeed Trader, frequently recognized as one of the best trading tools for active traders, has recently been updated to version 8.2.302. The latest iteration of Lightspeed Trading’s flagship trading software contains numerous functionality updates that are certain to be beneficial to active traders. Both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the software, compatible with PC and Mac, are now available for download on Lightspeed Trading’s website.
One of the newest updates to the Lightspeed Trader software is the ability to view a P&L graph within the Complex Options Order Entry window, allowing for easy viewing of profit and loss scenarios. Traders also gain access to a real-time display portfolio margin, which can be viewed in the Index Bar located in the Account Summary window. In order to access this feature, traders will need to contact their RM to set it up.
Customized order entry, one of the hallmarks of Lightspeed Trader, also receives an update in version 8.2.302. Users can create custom routes and strategies within the order entry window, choosing both the market and type/contra. Charts have been updated as well, and traders now have the option to scale charts by price only. Additionally, the software received a visual update: Traders can now choose to display high-contrast buy and sell buttons. Traders can discover all of the updates in this version by reading the release notes.
“With every update to Lightspeed Trader, we endeavor to add functionalities that our traders have been requesting, allowing them to execute their trading strategies faster and more efficiently,” said Tom Gibb, Co-President of Lightspeed Trading. “We look forward to including more beneficial functions in future releases.”
