Dave Holt is an experienced senior-level executive who has been involved in the management of both established and start-up companies for more than 26 years. At Lightspeed Logic, Mr. Holt has successfully transitioned the company to an IP business model. He was the founding member of two pioneering organizations advancing system architectures, and has broad experience in both semiconductors and software.
Prior to joining Lightspeed Logic, Mr. Holt was vice president and general manager of ATI Research Silicon Valley, Inc. which in 1998 acquired Chromatic Research, Inc. where he was co-founder and president. Prior to Chromatic, Mr. Holt held various executive management and engineering positions at SHOgraphics, Convex Computer Corporation, and MOSTEK Corporation. Mr. Holt earned a BSEE from the University of Missouri and an Executive MBA from Southern Methodist University. Dave is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts and as a referee for youth soccer organizations. |
Maureen Blando is responsible for Lightspeed Logic’s global sales to the industry’s leading semiconductor companies. She brings to Lightspeed Logic experience ranging from managing international sales teams to development of new business at emerging accounts.
Ms. Blando has been in the semiconductor industry for 19 years, including 11 years in sales and marketing management at Mitsubishi Electronics. She initially joined Lightspeed Logic in 2001. Ms. Blando was also Director of Sales at Open-Silicon, a fabless ASIC company and Director of Sales at Improv Systems. She graduated with an MA and BA from the University of West Georgia.

Fred Berkowitz's 25 years of experience in developing systems, software, and chips includes senior roles at FyreStorm where as Vice President of Engineering he managed the development of a highly integrated power management SoC employing a revolutionary method for voltage regulation. Prior to FyreStorm, Mr. Berkowitz was Vice President of Engineering at AMCC, where he managed the development of network processors, traffic managers, and switch fabrics. At AMCC, he successfully released more than ten chips/chipsets to production, including software and development systems. Mr. Berkowitz was also director of I/O systems engineering at Silicon Graphics, managing the development of high-end networking and mass storage subsystems, which included three high-speed ASICs for Super HIPPI Host Adapters. He has also held senior level positions at Storage Dimensions and Fujitsu/HAL Computer Systems. Mr. Berkowitz holds a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY.

Dr. Lyle Smith brings 22 years of experience in electronic engineering to his post at Lightspeed Logic. Most recently, Smith was vice president of engineering at Aptix Corporation where he was in charge of improvements to Aptix's current product line and led development of the company's next generation systems.
During 13 years at Zycad Corp., he served as vice president of engineering and vice president of marketing. Dr. Smith received his Master of Science and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Thomas Paskert brings 21 years of experience and more than 10 years of pre-IPO finance management to his role as Chief Financial Officer for Lightspeed Logic. Mr. Paskert most recently served as CFO for Aurora Networks. Previous positions include Corporate Controller for Chromatic/ATI Research, Corporate Controller for Digital Link, Operations Controller for Alps Electric, Finance and Accounting Supervisor for Alps Electric, and Auditor for Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Paskert holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics and an M.B.A., both from the University of Santa Clara.

Harold Dozier brings more than 30 years of experience in semiconductors, ASIC development, digital systems design, and engineering management to his position at Lightspeed Logic. Prior to joining Lightspeed Logic, he was responsible for ASIC technology and ASIC development at Chiaro Networks. He served as Vice President of Advanced Development at Convex Computer Corporation until its acquisition by HP, at which time he served as a technical advisor for issues related to IC design and system engineering. Prior to Convex, Mr. Dozier held various engineering and management positions at MOSTEK Corporation.
Mr. Dozier holds B.S.and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering, both from Texas A&M University.
