How to Fund / Withdraw Funds from your Lightspeed Account

Lightspeed offers customer two options for funding their account:

New customers will be able to begin trading 24 hours after the account is initially funded by wire.

Accounts funded by check will be subject to a 5 business day hold before the funds are made available.

*Please note that we do not accept third-party checks.

Lightspeed offers customers three options for withdrawing funds from their accounts:

Wire Transfer-
Customers can request to have funds sent directly to their bank accounts via electronic fund transfer (wire).
Outbound wires are usually received by the bank on the same business day.
Lightspeed charges a $20 fee for domestic wires and a $50 fee for international wires.

Check-
Customers can request to have a check mailed to their address of record.
Checks are processed same business day and take 3 to 5 business days to reach the customer.
Checks sent are subject to mail delays.
There is no fee for a normal check request.

ACH Transfer-
An ACH relationship can be established between a customer account with Lightspeed and the customer’s checking account at their bank.
Once established, customers can make inbound and outbound fund transfers via ACH.
ACH requests take two business days to process.
There is no fee charged for ACH transfers.

Customers can request any of the above withdrawal types by clicking on the “Withdrawal Request” button on their Lightspeed.com online reports page.
Alternatively, a customer can fax a signed fund withdrawal request form to Lightspeed at 646-393-4844.
All fund disbursement requests must be received by 2:30PM EST to be processed on the same business day.
Requests received after 2:30 PM EST will be processed on the following business day.
