“Our goal is to arm our customers with the best trading tools, technology and educational services that they need to compete in today’s competitive markets,” Stephen Ehrlich, Chief Executive Officer, Lightspeed Financial, LLC. “Lightspeed Spotlight is exclusive to our customers and designed to foster an environment of knowledge sharing with the goal of helping members ultimately become better traders. What makes the vast majority of our traders successful is their thirst for knowledge and education. As such, we are continually listening to their feedback and testing new, innovative ways to best leverage emerging technologies to help them succeed.”

Lightspeed Spotlight is user-friendly and allows members to create their own profiles, upload photos, view and share videos and post articles. Members have the ability to invite friends within the community to participate in forum discussions, webcasts and to join and create groups based on their trading interests. Members of the Lightspeed Spotlight can also participate in live discussions with Lightspeed Trading executives, educational webinars, and webcasts on the functionalities of the Lightspeed Trader platform.

Ehrlich added, “These are not the ‘daytraders’ of the late 90s, who flew by the seat of their pants and had little understanding of the principles of trading, rather our clients are disciplined, professional students of the market who implement short-term strategies for a living or to supplement their existing income. They understand the importance of education and are eager to listen, help and share ideas, which is why we are confident Lightspeed Spotlight will be well received.”

To take a virtual tour of Lightspeed’s social community or test drive the lightning fast trading technology, visit the Lightspeed Trading booth (Booth 5806) at the upcoming NY Traders Expo at the Marriott Marquis New York from February 21-24.

Lightspeed will also host the “Lightspeed Presents Buy and Hold vs. Active Trading,” panel discussion about the merits of active trading strategies in a volatile market environment on February 23 from 10:30- 11:15 a.m. at the NY Traders Expo (O’Neill Room, Fourth Floor)
